Biography

Mr Kenneth Yau is a consultant ophthalmic surgeon and College Tutor at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital.  He has a special interest in adult and paediatric glaucoma.  He graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2006.  He completed his Ophthalmic Specialist Training in the Northwest Deanery with a further two years sub specialist training in glaucoma at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital and Birmingham and Midland Eye Centre.

He has a special interest in the management of glaucoma and provides a comprehensive glaucoma care, which encompasses medical, laser and surgical management of glaucoma. As well as having experience in traditional glaucoma procedures and in the latest Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery, Mr Yau also has extensive expertise in the management of complex glaucoma. He also offers cataract surgery including complex cataract surgery.
